UNIABUJA Post-UTME: the deadline moved again

Registration closes September 13, 2026

UNIABUJA has already pushed this date back twice, so don’t wait on another extension.

Last checked: 9 September 2026

If you applied to the University of Abuja and haven’t registered for Post-UTME screening yet, the deadline is now September 13, 2026. It was originally 26 August, then moved to 2 September, then moved again. If you thought you’d missed it, you probably haven’t.

Don’t wait to find out where you stand. The deadline is the same for Direct Entry. Message us your JAMB year, course, and a screenshot, and we’ll tell you exactly where you are.

What you actually need

Your UTME score
At least 180. Engineering and Nursing need 200. Law needs 220.
Your O’Level results
Five credits including English and Mathematics, from no more than two sittings.
Your age
You must be at least 16 by 30 September 2026.
The screening itself
There’s no written test. UNIABUJA screens on your JAMB score and your O’Level results only.
The fee
₦2,000, paid to the university directly. That’s UNIABUJA’s screening fee, not a Sagetech charge.

If you’re not sure your score meets your specific department’s cutoff, don’t guess. Message us before you pay.

UNIABUJA generally needs to be your first choice on JAMB to register. If it isn’t, don’t pay the ₦2,000 yet. Message us and we’ll check whether a Change of Institution makes sense for you first.

One honest caveat

Deadlines like this move more than once, and pages online, including this one, can go stale fast. This one was last checked on 9 September 2026. If anything has changed since, message us and we’ll confirm where things actually stand before you act on it.

Where people actually get this wrong

Registering sounds simple until something doesn’t match. A wrong digit in your JAMB number, an email you don’t check anymore, paying again because you weren’t sure the first payment went through, or your subject combination not lining up with what the course actually needs. Any one of these can cost you the ₦2,000 fee a second time, or worse, cost you the slot.

Already registered, or not sure?

If you’ve registered but you’re not sure it went through properly, or you don’t know if you’ve registered at all, don’t guess and don’t pay again to be safe. Message us your JAMB number and we’ll check where you actually stand before you do anything else.

Want us to handle your UNIABUJA registration so nothing gets missed?

That’s Post-UTME / School Application Assistance, ₦3,500 plus the university’s own ₦2,000 fee. Message us and we’ll walk you through it directly.

We reply 8am to 8pm, every day.
